About the Founders: Yogesh Tyagi and Pratik Mishra

Yogesh Tyagi, a mechanical engineer from Galgotias College of Engineering and Technology, began his career as an educator for GATE/ESE aspirants at Adda247. His background in engineering now plays a crucial role in implementing innovative organic farming techniques.

Richa Singh Chandel, (co-founder), is a bio graduate dedicated to empowering women in rural areas. Her work focuses on fostering opportunities for women through sustainable farming practices and creating a positive impact on local communities.

Pratik Mishra, an experienced Associate Professor in education management, brings his expertise in leadership and organizational skills to Gyros Farm. Together, they ventured into the organic farming space during the COVID-19 pandemic to address the need for pure, chemical-free food.

Identifying the Problem

During the pandemic, a growing awareness of health led to increased demand for chemical-free, natural food. However, the market lacked reliable sources offering genuinely pure products. Simultaneously, small-scale farmers faced challenges in accessing markets and obtaining fair prices for their produce. Yogesh and Pratik saw an opportunity to solve both these problems by connecting consumers with farmers directly through Gyros Farm.
